This event included music by DJ Dan with sound by James Garcia and Audio Video Events, and live paintings on the patio by Mariposa Curiosa, Satine Phoenix and Chris Martin.  There were bellydancers, Sufi dancing and Cirque Style Ambient Performers all dressed in outrageous white attire. On April 27^th, Lot 613 celebrated MOPLA, the Month of Photography Los Angeles. KCRW, Stones Throw Records & The Lucie Foundation presented An Evening of Photography & Music, featuring performances by: Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf, Jonti, Gary Wilson and Jonwayne. There was a silent auction to benefit Lucie Foundation’s at-risk youth photography program, Snapshot! and a portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to Pablove Shutterbugs. Friday’s event was a preshow of Create:Fixate the following evening. Create:Fixate’s Snap Flash Exhibition showcased a plethora of beautiful photographs.  This event featured photography from Andrew Matusik, Avesha Michael, Cerraeh Laykin, DAK, Erik Borzi, Franklin Londin, Jamais Vu, Javiera Estrada, Jimi Dava, Kathy B. Shapiro, Kristen Perman, Manoosh Nabavi, Michael Rababy, Norman Golightly, Patrick McPheron, Paynie, R. Dean Larson, Rex Bruce, Robin Warner, Stephan Canthal, Stephen Hutchison, Sven Dreesbach, Wobsarazzi, and Xochitl Castillo. Fashion and jewelry vendors included Bel Kazan, Constitution Couture, Delevo Designs, Kucoon Designs, Sol Del Sur, (soy’-ka) designs, Victoria Reyna Designs and Viola Living Jewels.  Create Fixate has quarterly art events at Lot 613 so look out for the next one!

One of our favorite events at Lot 613, The Pancake & Booze Art Show took place last weekend. This party was definitely a fun time enjoyed by all.   The pancake team grilled up hundreds of strawberry, blueberry and even character shaped pancakes.  Lot 613 staff poured beers and mixed drinks all night for the festive crowd. A live band rocked the audience and provocative art covered every inch of the walls. Some of the artists included Lembeck Studios, Le Beauty Exorcist, Matt Garber, Andrew Covell, Keenan Chapman, Virginia Viera, Jennifer Korsen, Leslie Louise Grandclaudon, Sean Munley, Parker Detchon, Shannon P. O’Brien and more!  Snap Yourself had a photo booth where guests were able to control the camera with a click of the button and take an unlimited amount of crazy photos.  Stay tuned for information about the next Pancakes & Booze at Lot 613.

Last night, Premiere Events catered the Jameson Bartenders Ball at Vanguard in Hollywood.  This event was open to the service industry only, to show appreciation for Los Angeles’ bartenders.  Guests enjoyed an open bar with a selection of Jameson, Jameson and more Jameson.   Premiere Events served up Southern Cuisine to go with all of that whiskey.  Guests enjoyed Home-style Macaroni and Cheese, Pulled Pork Sliders, Fried Chicken, Coconut Shrimp with Mango Chutney and Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce. The Young Dubliners preformed an exciting, Celtic, rock and roll show and bartenders danced the night away!

Yesterday the Premiere Events Management Team had an ice cream tasting with our friends at MILK Ice Cream.  We tried the Cookies and Cream, Coffee Toffee, Chocolate,  Salty Caramel and Raspberry Sorbet.  We also enjoyed the Grasshopper and Butter Pecan and Red Velvet Ice Cream Sandwiches which were all delicious.  Premiere Events Catering now offers MILK Ice Cream and Sandwiches for our clients.  we can custom design flavors with you favorite liquors, candies or fruit.  Please let us know if you’re planing an event where you would like to surprise your guests with ice cream!

On Tuesday, Lot 613 hosted a pop-up dinner for Valentine’s Day.  Create:Fixate generously left their art up for the event so guests could dine in the beautiful gallery.  The guests enjoyed a four course meal prepared by Premiere Events Catering, including Stout Braised Sirloin Tips and Agave Glazed Salmon. Bartenders mixed specialty cocktails including a Strawberry Coconut Martini, Tiramisu Martini, Mexipolitan Margarita and Jalapeno Collins. The band, The Hightoppers, played an amazing performance of Instrumental Jazz, Blues and Rock, entertaining the guests as they ate.  Premiere Events hopes to host another pop-up dinner soon, so be on the lookout for more information!

Saturday was Create:Fixate’s 10 Year Anniversary Exhibit, I Art You at Lot 613. This show was dedicated to Charles Berc aka Papa Create:Fixate and supported by many patrons of the arts. Student art work from Create:Fixate’s community partner, A Place Called Home, was showcased in the main gallery and there was were two Valentine’s card making stations for children and adults to express their creativity. There was  live painting face off on a Nissan Sentra by John Park, Christina Angelina, Max Neutra, and Michael Pukac.

On Tuesday, February 14th, Lot 613 will be offering a special Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe Menu catered by Premiere Events’ Chef Jae and Chef Ian. This event is open to the public and reservations are required. For this event Lot 613 will have a full bar, live music, and will be in its gallery form featuring art from Create:Fixate’s 10 Year Anniversary Exhibit I Art You.

Last week Premiere Events catered a huge private event for 600 people at Madame Tussauds.  Guests enjoyed Chef Cordelia’s tray-passed appetizers including Petite Crab Cakes with Lemon Dill Remoulade, Ahi Tuna Tartar on a Wonton Crisp with Sesame Soy Vinaigrette, Hearts of Palm Fritters with Aioli Verde and Bacon-Wrapped Apricots with Rosemary Balsamic Honey.  Themed food stations were set up all over the attraction.  Some of the foods served were Grilled Chicken Brochettes and Lamb Kofta Kebabs at the Mediterranean Station, Roast Salmon with Country Bacon-Mustard Glaze and Smoked Tri-Tip with BBQ Sauce at the All American Station, Creamy Penne Alfredo and Lemon Chicken Picatta at the Italian Station,  and Red Hot Chicken Wings and Angus Sliders at the Sports Station.  There was also a mini cupcake station, Russell Stover chocolate station and many themed bar stations.
