Made in Los Angeles at the Hammer Museum

August 10th, 2012 | Posted by Marketing in Events

This summer, Premiere Events was proud to be a part of the Hammer Museum’s summer concert series. Last week, KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez spun a set of music and host East LA’s Chicano Batman. Sets selected and inspired by the idea of the Made in L.A., an exhibit featuring emerging and under-recognized LA artists.

There was a full bar provided by Premiere Events! The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas sponsored two cocktails, the Rose Gimlet made with Hendricks, lemon juice,  lychee puree, rose nectar and garnished with a rose petal and the RedHouse made with Kettle Oranje, Campari, soda and garnished with a flaming orange peel. There was also fresh sangria made with blush wine, crème de cassis, basil, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

The Made in LA Exhibit 2012 features works by 60 artists from the L.A. area. The exhibit debuts new installations, videos, films, sculptures, performances, and paintings. As one of the most active and energetic art communities in the world, Los Angeles is snapshot of current trends with an eclectic collection of modern art
