Last night Lot 613 and Premiere Events hosted the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention board’s monthly member mixer. Guests enjoyed Premiere Events’ catering which included tray passed appetizers such as Hearts of Palm Fritters with Aioli Verde, Mini Corn Fritter Arepas with Guacamole & Cotija, Ahi Tuna Tartare on a Wonton Crisp with Sesame Soy Vinaigrette, and Bacon-wrapped Apricots with Lavender Balsamic Honey.  There was a plentiful antipasti buffet which had Bocconcini with Sundried Tomatoes, Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon, Chilled Asparagus in a Vinaigrette, Fresh and Pickled vegetables, Mixed Olives, Spiced Nuts, Meats, Cheeses and more!

Art and Architecture and the Gloria Delson Gallery from the LA Downtown Art Walk dressed Lot 613 with stunning colorful paintings and a few very unique statues.  Snap Yourself! brought their photo booth where guests dressed in silly costumes and props and “snapped themselves” with a remote.  Nobleza Azul Tequila provided complementary Lime and Strawberry Margaritas as well as a Tequila Tasting where guests learned the difference between Blanco, Reposado and Anejo. Monster Energy Drink and Boxed Water donated to this event so guests could stay hydrated on this  hot day. There was a full entertainment lineup of three artists. Hey Mister DJ spun lounge tracks perfect for a cocktail party, The Lugnuts played popular covers and their own original rock songs and Danny Nucci (Frabizio of Titanic) sang his music described as deeply personal lyrics with moving melodies that groove.

The event was a great success and everyone had a fun time. It was many guest’s first time venturing into the Downtown Arts District and experiencing Lot 613’s unique space and one of a kind way of throwing parties.
